about

A lo-fi, rock song full of groove informing a special person you will see each other again. It tells a story of two people meeting and immediately connecting with each other, just to be torn apart. Though the relationship was brief, the connection is strong. Oh, and there is a dope guitar solo that really ties the whole song together.

lyrics

BOXED WINE

And so I pour my thoughts from a boxed red wine
Its blood droplets, they’re littered across a tabletop
Cheers to a memory of a memory of a night unforgot
Give it up; I tell myself I’m behind closed eyes
Hiding an I missed you tonight
As I wish you good night

Chorus:
I’ll be waiting for
(that seeing you again high)
Can you feel it in the air
(while on facetime timeline)
Meet me at the air-o-port
(don’t wanna say goodbye)
I know we’ll be the ones to make this work
Yeah, I swear on my heart that I’m gonna see you again

And I still see you walking out of the guest room
A toilet paper veil; my bride of the afternoon
Dancing to our favorite album under a quarantine moon
Two weeks straight been living at your dorm room
Showers with our clothes on
And we’ve been laughin’ at the inside jokes and 80’s themed dance off
holding your hands and spinning you in circles

[Repeat Chorus]

This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you
This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you
This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you
This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you
This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you
This time again tomorrow, I’ll be the one to hold you

(Ooh) and I’ll be waiting for
(that seeing you again high)
Can you feel it in the air
(while on facetime timeline)
Meet me at the air-o-port
(don’t wanna say goodbye)
Cause I’ll be waiting for

about

Snacks at Midnight Spokane, Washington

It's like indie and funk had a kid who grew up to be the cool kid in high school. We are the best band several drunk bar goers have ever seen. We take influences from bands like Hippocampus, RKS, Dayglow and Lewis DelMar to name a few..
